Methods and strategies are based on the promotion of discussion/ debate in the social studies classroom, integrating technology, and creating an environment that allows group problem solving/ critical thinking about issues facing our nation today. I also teach reading in the content area as every educator should be teaching reading comprehension and literacy skills.
