Grier is a PharmD and has his own business-Appian International Research-researching generic drugs. We have two children, Thomas is 19 and Sarah is 16. Thomas and Sarah are so much alike but yet so different in many ways. It has been a joy to watch their personalities develop and ride the waves of adolescents with them. I have been a nurse since 1983. I worked 7 years as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Currently I am working at the NC Board of Nursing, as an education consultant.
