I very much enjoy the variety of tasks associated with Human Resources and have resisted specialization in any one HR discipline. My philosophy on HR is that our function is that of a strategic business partner, mentor, coach and adviser. If asked in my youth what I wanted to be when I grew up, I wouldnt' have said "Human Resources Professional".
