The mission of the High-throughput Peptide Synthesis and Array Facility is to provide researchers with high quality consultation and peptide synthesis services including production, purification, and characterization of polypeptides and custom designed peptide arrays. We are reasonably priced, fast and offer the highest possible quality and standards. We will work with you to help design the right peptide for your needs. Synthetic peptides including peptides containing nonstandard (modified or unnatural) amino acids, e.g. acetylated Lys, methylated Lys or Arg, phosphorylated Ser Thr or Tyr residues, fluorescent tags, biotinylation, D-amino acids, unnatural amino acids (e.g. 6-Cl-Trp), stable isotopes (2H, 13C, 15N) and PEG linkers/spacers. Synthesis of peptide libraries (~100 peptides). Preparation of peptide microarrays up to 4000 spots per slide. Synthesis of Multiple Antigenic Peptides (MAPs) for antibody production. Director: Krzysztof Krajewski, PhD; Faculty Director: Brian Strahl, PhD E-mail: peptides@unc.edu ]]>

https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/profile-photo-DrBrianDStrahl-48x48.jpg?cb=1523253679 Dr. Brian Strahl is a research scientist in the field of chromatin biology and gene expression at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine. Dr. Strahl has been at UNC since 2001, where he has published a wide number of studies in the chromatin field while also teaching and mentoring aspiring scientists who work in his laboratory. Brian Strahl's laboratory studies how histone post-translstional modifications contribute to gene expression and other DNA-based events. After earning an undergraduate degree at UNC-G, Dr. Strahl continued his studies at North Carolina State University, where he earned a doctorate degree. Brian Strahl performed his postdoc work with David Allis. www.academicroom.com/users/brianstrahl https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/ss_thumbnails/set2illustration-170620165608-thumbnail.jpg?width=320&height=320&fit=bounds slideshow/researchers-show-how-a-cancer-gene-protects-genome-organization/77114282 Researchers show how a... https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/ss_thumbnails/brianstrahl2013classongenomicsandproteomics-140129125832-phpapp01-thumbnail.jpg?width=320&height=320&fit=bounds slideshow/brianstrahl-2013classongenomicsandproteomics/30590101 Brian_Strahl 2013_clas... https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/ss_thumbnails/brianstrahl2013-130812084912-phpapp02-thumbnail.jpg?width=320&height=320&fit=bounds slideshow/brian-strahl-2013/25168236 Brian strahl's 2013 Le...
