https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/profile-photo-DrMaxdC-48x48.jpg?cb=1593566354 Professor de Courten is the inaugural Professor of Global Public Health at the Copenhagen School of Global Health based at the University of Copenhagen. He received his MD degree at the University of Basel and his MPH from the University of Arizona while working at the National Institutes of Health on the epidemiology of diabetes with the Pima Indians. As a specialist in chronic disease epidemiology and control, Professor de Courten was staff of the World Health Organization at headquarters and in the South Pacific. Before joining the School of Global Health he was based at Monash University in Australia. http://globalhealth.ku.dk
