Whisper is a social discovery platform that encourages people to explore, post and share location specific content. Whisper is a platform for sharing location-based content. "Whispers" can be text, images, audio or videos and are tied to the location that they were created at. Whisper content can only be viewed when you are close to the location where the whisper was created. Open data is displayed alongside the whisper content to give a sense of context and provide extra information about the whisper location. Currently, data from Flickr and Wikipedia is displayed, but the system is highly scalable and can very easily be expanded to include other datasets.]]>
