I had enjoyed the communications aspect of my work in the promotions department, but desired to take it a step further and soon discovered public relations. I had the fortunate opportunity to work with a dedicated mentor who led me to work in diversity communications, first as an intern with Edelman Public Relations and then as Account Coordinator with the diversity communications firm Howland PR. In my role, I developed an expertise in niche markets, working with people of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds; including segments among the Afri
