The field was very young at the time and full of opportunity to make a difference in patient lives, so I entered it with enthusiasm. Never looking back, this career path has allowed me to have a hand in changing patient care, the lives of hundreds of students and many patients and their families. I have been very blessed and am extremely hopeful for the future.
