ABSTRACT This article focuses on the quality systems for the school management under the topic “LOS PROCESOS DE CERTIFICACIÓN COMO HERRAMIENTAS PARA LA TRANSFORMACIÒN EN LA CALIDAD EDUCATIVA” (the processes of certification as tools for transformation in educational quality). In addition, it makes a compilation of the certification process carried out in the school "INSTITUCIÒN EDUCATIVA HELENA DE CHAUVIN". This school has come to create and consolidate its quality system and it keeps walking in the path of continuous improvement. This experience has shown that when an institution has a visionary leadership, a group of teachers committed to their work and a school community willing to support the project, then, it is possible to achieve high levels of quality in education. ]]>
