The representation of women in advertising seems to be moving on. There's Dove, UnderArmour, Always, Pantene... The new wave of empowerment and 'femvertising'. But actually these brands are playing in the same gender stereotyped box. We need to break empowerment out and look at how we represent gender in all communications. Is the man always an idiot? Is the man always funny? Is the woman only a decorative prop? Is the woman always cooking? Lets bust stereotypes across all communications for a better world - the kind of world we want to create.
