This master thesis examines the use of social media in marketing activities of luxury brands trying to identify the key success factors contributing to developing effective social media strategies. In the first chapter the concept of a luxury brand is defined and the importance of online presence of luxury brands is explained. The next chapters are focused on the most important aspects of luxury brands communication, the analysis of digital market of luxury products and the specificity of communication in the social media channel. The author gives also examples of successful luxury brands campaigns in social media. Finally, based on the author's own analysis, the six key success factors contributing to building effective social media campaigns of luxury brands are identified.]]>
