I'll be returning to the world of writing and blogging on disability issues this summer as I celebrate all of Hannah's first firsts. In the fall, I'll start my doctoral internship at Wright State University. Combined with my dissertation, it's my final step to earning my Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University. THEN: I'm a retired adapted swimmer that represented Team USA in the 2004 Paralympics and 2005 World Cup. I remain passionate about adapted sports and am thankful for the confidence, strength, and discipline that it provided me.
