I find it disheartening when people can only view the world in black & white, in concretes. Something seems lost or sleeping with their inability to empathize or view humanity as actual individual people just like themselves. Just because you've moved forward doesn't mean you want to keep the person who hurt you in your life. Sometimes that is just taking two steps backward.
