Signed to Greensleeves Records and released a number of singles namely 'Jahman', 'Silhouettes', 'Babylon (You've Got To Set Jah Children Free) and 'Thank You For Last Night'. Under the direction of producer John Rubie of Freedom Sounds, Cygnus also released a reggae cover version of Mcfadden and Whitehead's 'A'int No Stopping Us Now' and providing musical backing for one of Rubie's stalwart Jackie Dale. Toured Europe and Scandinavia; played support to and backed John Holt and Errol Dunkley as well as appearing live with Jimmy Cliff, Tappa Zukie and replacing Aswad on a tour date in Ireland.
