They want to erect offshore wind turbines in the shoreline waters of Lake Michigan. Their current proposal includes portions of Mason, Oceana, Muskegon and Ottawa Counties and threatens to place massive wind turbines on concrete foundations offshore of Pentwater, Ludington as well as Grand Haven. These will be disastrous to the ecosystems of the Great Lakes. It will ruin the view, and pose hazards to boaters and those who fish. It will thrash and maim migrating birds as well as bats.
