We all know the concept of the elevator pitch, where you pitch your idea between two floors in an elevator. Visual + words are even more powerful together and that is the essence of this talk given at CIID Open Lecture. It is all about how you explain your ideas better , how to make sure people remember them and how to gain shared knowledge faster and more efficient. ...And that is by drawing simple pictures to visualise your ideas.]]>

If you can draw a circle, a square, a line and a squiggle, you can avoid traditional specifications, PowerPoints and misunderstandings in meetings. The elevator pitch is invented to quickly explain a business idea or concept. When it comes to transforming the idea into a digital solution it is crucial that all involved quickly is on the same page. You might know Dan Roam’s book ‘On the back of a napkin’. This talk continues in that spirit. Come along and learn how to use the simple art of sketching to save time and money and avoid misunderstandings. It is this year’s most timesaving UX Camp CPH 2013 talk.]]>

https://cdn.slidesharecdn.com/profile-photo-LouiseKlinker-48x48.jpg?cb=1666160460 I use visual thinking and design thinking to come up with concepts for products and services that people want and business love. The journey of good design is often messy and nonlinear. I use tools and processes like Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas and Google Venture Design Sprint to systematically guide the right solution. Previously I have worked with clients in the UK, Denmark and internationally including Sony, The BBC, The Guardian, Easyjet, BUPA, Tesco, Nokia, Sky, Vodafone, Energistyrelsen, GN Store Nord and Bruun Rasmussen. I hold an MA in interaction design from the Royal College of Art.
