I joined Nsumba secondary school in 1967 for O-level studies. In 1970 I joined Tosamaganga High School, Iringa Region for A-level studies.I studied Agriculture at the then Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Dar es Salaam from 1973-1976 where I obtained B.Sc Agriculture General (Hons). In 1977 I attended postgraduate training at the University of Nairobi and the prestigious Swiss Federal Institute
