In this study, the iron ore deposit of the historic Warda Region, District of Ajloun, Northern Jordan, were investigated, two samples were collected; the first sample A was higher in iron and has some carbonate minerals predicted from high calcium content, while the second sample, sample B, has low iron content and high calcium. The two samples were subjected to crushing, grinding, followed by magnetic separation and fatty acid and amine flotation. the results show that both samples were not amenable for magnetic separation indicating the iron bearing mineral may be of low magnetization such as hematite which require high intensity magnetic separator on the other hand, Sample B were more amenable for flotation, and it was found that fatty acid floatation was more effective to separate carbonate mineral (Ca) and silica. ]]>
