Occupational therapy and my application there of, is able to identify specific strengths and weaknesses of an individual such as poor problem solving, planning, assertiveness or conflict resolution, etc. through the assessment of basic skills that we all take for granted. Employee skills development can then be done to meet these specific problem areas to improve an individuals weaknesses as well as to promote their strengths simultaneously.
