The search for alternative methodologies for industrial scale production of metabolites has paved way for the Rotary Disc Bioreactors (RDB). In this presentation, the analysis of the available methodologies is being defined for the production of commercially relevant products. Also, the critical factors and operational parameters are also being discussed for the design of RDB.
