I was a researcher in MSR-SVC from January 2008 to April 2013, working on Web Search, Large-Scale Machine Learning, Distributed Data-Parallel Computing, Computer Vision, and Online-Service Security and Intelligence. I led the WISE project on large-scale web image search and exploration, and the Optimus project--a framework for dynamically rewriting an execution plan graph in distributed data-parallel computing at runtime.
