Concrete is the most vital ingredient in the construction industry. Strength of concrete directly associated with its related elements. If any kind of new material introduced among the concrete in addition with its basic elements, the strength of concrete also changes. Introduction of new elements in concrete has both positive & negative influences. Concrete strength can increase and also can decrease depend on the physical & chemical properties of new elements. In this research, materials of concrete have been replaced by steel nail. Concrete cylinder was prepared by replacing concrete with 1%, 2%, 3%,4% and 5% by steel nail. Steel nail exhibits better strength properties than concrete. So, introduction of steel nail in concrete ultimately increase the overall strength of concrete. Therefore, Strength of concrete cylinder has been tested for 3,7,14 and 28 days. It is found from the test result that strength of concrete increased using steel nail by any percentages. Compressive Strength of concrete increased afterwards mixing steel nail 1-5%. Compressive Strength of concrete for maximum steel nail percentage (5%) is 4750 psi, which is maximum value in this research. And this value is well above than acceptable range for any average construction. Cost for concrete incorporating steel nail decreased with respect to normal concrete up to 0.5%. On the other hand, the strength for concrete incorporating steel nail increased with respect to normal concrete up to 24%.]]>
