In data center management, I explore statistical learning approaches for heterogeneous system performance and power modeling and evaluate the impact of system profiling; I use machine learning for efficient resource allocation and scheduling in data center for heterogeneous hardware and contentions. In processor core microarchitecture, I design processor to have design-time homogeneity and runtime heterogeneity. I am working on improving energy efficiency in fine granularity by fast switching execution modes based on application behavior.
