As a child of 2 I sang under the kitchen table. I later learned piano and recorder whilst always singing in the school choir and joining every ensemble available. Through high school I learnt guitar, clarinet, percussion and then oboe. I then went on to study a Bachelor of Music Education at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with piano as my major instrument. Whilst there I again joined the faculty choir and percussion ensemble. Once I graduated and began teaching at a catholic girls college I learnt violin, then drums and flute.
