Never ask ur army to do what u wouldn't do yourself. Only fight when your people agree, never let emotion and/or passion take over and cloud your reason. Only fight when there is victory, when there is no victory by means of sheer size of your force, fortify terrain to the advantage of your armys size, arm best troops in small gorilla units to attack supply routes, and trade.
