Increasingly, supervised classification algorithms are being routinely applied in many application domains. A large number of base algorithms along with variants gives rise to a palette of several dozen algorithms. Selecting the right algorithm or at least reducing the number of options is useful in such situations. In this presentation we explore meta-attributes of data sets to predict which set of algorithms will perform well when used for supervised classification of a data set. We do this only for binary classification in this presentation. ]]>
