The thesis had to describe and analyze the different supply markets for cellulose-based waste in the Netherlands, potential competitors and an estimated market potential for bio-ethanol in the Netherlands. It had to be possible for the management to base its strategic choices on this thesis. Dit rapport bevat door de studenten uitgevoerde analyses van de markt van leveranciers van cellulosehoudend afvalmateriaal (de grondstoffen waaruit de fabriek ethanol haalt) en van de afnemersmarkt. Daarnaast hebben onder andere de volgende analyses plaatsgevonden: Analyse van de verschillende biobrandstofproducerende systemen; Concurrentieanalyse; Analyse van de concurrentiekracht. Hiernaast bevat deze scriptie ook een beschrijving van de organisatie waar het afstuderen heeft plaatsgevonden met een beschrijving van de totale keten waarin N2 Energie BV zich bevindt. Aan de hand van bovenstaande analyses zijn met behulp van een SWOT en confrontatiematrix verschillende hoofdaandachtspunten opgesteld die gebruikt kunnen worden wanneer de directie van N2 Energie BV strategische keuzes gaat maken als het gaat om positionering binnen de verschillende markten.
