I was raised in Lancaster, PA, and married my wife, Nora in 1968 in Clovis, NM and we have three children: Jonathon, Kelcie, and Abbie. My family is my greatest source of pride. I love my wife dearly and my children bring me joy and I love watching them grow as adults. My son-in-law was a welcome addition to our family and I couldn't ask for more than Brian for my daughter. During my 28 years as a journalism teacher I recieved the ILPC Edith Fox King award, and was named an ILPC Texas Legend of Scholastic Journalism. I co-wrote and designed a journalism course for Texas Tech, which won a first place award from the National Continuing Educatio
