He joined at Electronics Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya, Indonesia, as a lecturer in 2002. He stayed at Tohoku University, Japan, in 2004, as a visiting researcher. His research interests include computer networks, protocol design, embedded system and multimedia. He received IEEE Young Researcher Award in 2009. He is a member of IEEE.
