And guess what? It‘s up to Dastan to save the known world and win over the girl. Directed by Mike Newell of Four Weddings fame, and produced by Hollywood overlord Jerry Bruckheimer, Prince Of Persia feels very much like the lovechild of Indy and The Mummy. However, rather than taking on the very best qualities of both, it sadly fails to live up to those parents‘ expectations.
