The corpus of the study is composed of 144 patent families. Through the bibliographic coupling, 5 theme clusters and researchers with well-defined thematic domains were observed. Employing co-citation, 23 clusters were identified, characterizing the epistemic domains related to technological currents in which stem cell inventors operate. Such results allowed us to prospect the scientific-technological scenario in this theme, which can illustrate some institutions¡¯ innovation potentials and explain who the actors at the forefront of such research are. O presente estudo analisa o dep¨®sito de patentes no Brasil, a partir dos maiores depositantes de patentes indexadas na base de dados Derwent Innovations Index (DII), no per¨ªodo de 2004 a 2016. O estudo ¨¦ patentom¨¦trico com abordagem quantitativa e car¨¢ter descritivo, tendo o corpus formado pelos registros das patentes depositadas no Brasil, no escrit¨®rio brasileiro de registro de patentes ¨C Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) ¨C, e que foram indexadas na base DII, no per¨ªodo destacado. A coleta dos dados resultou em um total de 208.064 registros. A partir da coleta pelo termo ¡°Sa¨²de¡±, os dados foram organizados a fim de identificar os autores mais produtivos, descrever as formas de coautoria, investigar as caracter¨ªsticas das revistas utilizadas para publica??o; analisar as tem¨¢ticas identificadas a partir das palavras-chaves. Foram coletados 1.293 documentos e ap¨®s limpeza o total foi de 1.140 registros que foram administrados no software VOSviewer. Obteve-se que 3.3% dos documentos em Ci¨ºncia da Informa??o indexados na base abordam alguma quest?o da ¨¢rea de sa¨²de. A Revista Eletr?nica de Comunica??o, Informa??o e Inova??o em Sa¨²de apresentou 43,2% de todos os trabalhos recuperados e uma preval¨ºncia por autoria m¨²ltipla.]]>
