Although there are some truths still worth believing in, I have found that it is often difficult to distinguish between what is ���real��� and what I have imagined to be real. I am in the midst of a prolonged and detailed reassessment of my values, as a person and as an American. No longer will I continue the march to some enigmatic beat, toward an unknown destination. No longer will I ���happily��� and busily relegate myself to be a ���subject'. I am searching for that ever elusive ���truth���, that I gre
