Here are the results of a trend study into product software development in 2012. The study explains about the trends in the field of personnel policy within the software industry. Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) want to grow, but how will the companies come by sufficient numbers of qualified personnel? This report attempts to provide an answer, based on the !ndings of people in the industry itself. Of course, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who took part in this study. A total of 337 Dutch companies from the industry were approached for the study. Contact was sought with the managing director or development manager in each ompany. In the end, more than 20 percent participated in the study, a very good score. The respondents represented a good cross-section of the entire industry. ]]>
