Our research (including @davidgmcgillivray, @davidfhlegg, @lmisene) aimed to examine how the hosting of different forms of sport events for persons with a disability are being leveraged to create opportunities for community participation, and influence community attitudes towards disability. I presented some of the findings from our research at Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games in this presentation before we go onto Canada to conduct the same research at the Pan/Para Pan Am Games 2015. ]]>

She leads and works on a wide range of research, knowledge transfer and consultancy projects within the Creative Futures Institute at UWS. She is a member of the European Cultural Parliament and teaches at the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin. She has recently completed: the impact evaluation of Scotland's London 2012 Cultural Programme for Creative Scotland.
