I adore my husband who is also my best friend and has been for 24 years. I adore my four beautiful girls who continue to amaze me and to teach me something new about myself and about life in general nearly every day. I have a son who is not mine by birth - but is mine by heart -all 300 pounds of him:) I am a Maryland girl and always will be. I am extremely protective of those I love. I do not appreciate intolerance of any sort. I am one of those folks who believes that if you don't have something nice to say - then you probably just shouldn't say anything. I think words have the power to shape who we are and who we become and have a power that many
