It was only through his efforts to assist a friend with his dreams of becoming a published children's author that Jaxson discovered a publisher for poetry. On a whim he submitted a sample of his writings and to his surprise, he recieved a letter from the publisher with an offer to publish his book. This was a shock to Jaxson, one he was not prepared for. He now had to take all his hand-written poetry and create a manuscript.
