These patients underwent traditional therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and low-power laser therapy, Classification IIIA, 650 nm, 5 mw, pulsatile mode. Applied in neuronal circuit for swallowing and phonoarticulation. Acoustic analysis tests of swallowing, voice and speech were performed. Improvement and stabilization of the communicative function is found in the 11 patients. This stabilization remains in time for up to a year without performing more therapies or supports.
