She earned her Master’s degree in Environmental Design in 2012. Her Master’s work focused on the analysis of environmental factors related to low-income high-rise housing. Her current research interest is in gerontology-environments. Marwa’s Ph.D. dissertation focuses on place attachment and depression in nursing homes. She serves as the Student Representative to EDRA Board of Directors (2013-2015). Marwa has several national and international publications in the field of environmental design (a full paper, abstracts, and posters). She i
