This is a presentation that I created while in college. The course was on culture. The focus was American culture verses other cultures. The Dream Act in California attempted to aide foreign born children whose families migrated to America illegally. When these children grew up they found themselves looked outside the American Dream of getting a good education. They were not allowed to participate in the financial assistance programs that a lot of Americans born in this country access to help pay for college. My presentation was based on an interview that I conducted on a foreign born nurse who migrated to this country to seek better opportunities for herself and her children. ]]>
