He is also the Chief Consultant of NICU, PICU and Pediatric Cardiac ICU of Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital, a private hospital at Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completion of MBBS, Prof Hossain obtained DCH in 1990, MD (Pediatrics) in 1997 and FCPS (Pediatrics) in 1999. He has got PhD from Dhaka University in 2006 for his research work on Critically ill Neonate Treated in Intensive Care Unit.
