This is a project focusing on a language material I made with some of my kindergarten ESL students based on the book "My Little Sister Ate One Hare" by Bill Grossman. In the book a little girl eats 1 hare, 2 snakes, 3 ants, 4 shrews, 5 bats, 6 mice, 7 polliwogs, 8 worms, 9 lizards, and 10 peas. This learning toy was designed as a project to get them involved hands on in their learning experience while also making the book come alive for them. In the process they learned about animal names, singular/plural, and numbers.]]>
