I was originally just looking for a way to set my deck apart from all the rest by coming up with a heavy duty post cap that would stand up to the severe weather we get here in Kansas City. I started noticing that there was a demand for my deck light as a security and safety measure as well. Many people have lighting for the front of their homes, but not for the backyard. My deck lights also make navigating stairs much safer. And if you've ever had to replace a rotting post you know how expensive it can be.
