Therefore, as per the plan and the budget; we incorporated step by step to the platform a series of new addon like remotely monitoring the energy consumption in real-time, measurement and verification, renewable energy tracking system, waste & Facilities management, staff & fleet geolocation, spare parts management, boosting the operations through a new workflow management system, dedicated procurement system linked to the platform, SMART CAFM for operations and maintenance, and assets management for obtaining a better lifespan of the amenities installed in the buildings. The platform aimed to assess our continuous progression by merging essential data from other necessary departments like security, health & safety, procurement, administration, human resources, finance, and contract management. We proposed to reduce the energy consumption on the air conditioning system in AFGRE facilities (Al Futtaim Real Estate) We selected the engineering room's office as the AES test site located in the site management offices of Dubai Festival City. The test was conducted for two days and 8 hours each day. The AC ran without AES as a normal situation during the first days. However, the AES was connected to AC in the following days to control and optimize the operations. Also, we have collected some data like the room temperature (electronic thermometer), the temperature targeted (AC), and the room temperature shown on the remote control to keep the same environmental situation during the test. An air conditioner acclimatizes every room in the site office. We demonstrated the AES's performance, achieving an energy saving of 20%.]]>
