I am interested in knowledge management and discovery in this domain. I finished a master in Plant Breeding at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I also have a Masters from the UPM in Artificial Intelligence. For my PhD thesis, I am using tools from the Semantic Web such as Ontologies, Natural Language Processing and Rule-based systems to facilitate the recovery and exchange of information generated in plant biology labs.
