Had a variety of jobs, from fire fighting for the U.S. Forest Service in the Idaho Primitive Area to running a motorcycle shop before my first radio gig. At 17, attended radio school in Burbank, California and got my First Class radio license. the "ticket" got me my first radio job, at KRLC in Lewiston. Then I hopped to ever-bigger markets, doing the California circuit, Fresno, San Diego, San Francisco (where I met my wife), Los Angeles. In LA & SF I was Eric Chase. AFTRA says I still am.
