W. H. Auden I don't vote and I don't like Abraham Lincoln. ...and my biggest pet peeve is people who think we live in a democracy. Majority rules is tyranny. We live in a constitutional republic. The American system is limited by the constitution to the protection of individual rights. No matter the desires of the majority, no vote can infringe on the rights of any individual to life, liberty, or property. Democracy is two wolves and one sheep voting on dinner, or millions of Americans voting on healthcare, minimum wage laws, etc.
