She incorporated skills in Social Emotional Learning into art programmes and students learned while having fun in art making. Recent years, Vanessa introduced Art as therapy and Art Psychotherapy programmes to schools. These programmes were specially contextualized for both main stream audience and those with special rights. In her clinical practice, Vanessa is an Art Therapist, working with older adults and clients from the mental health sector.
