Apparently this was a first. There were definitely guys with beards, that was a steady fixture you could rely on. I don't think I had ever thought of myself as being ���entertainment��� in any way, more of an ordeal, part of some rite of passage or cleansing. The audience lapped it up; despite the fact the show was almost totally played in darkness, no stage, ear splitting, hazardous and probably illegal in volume.
