When Rick is not blogging or spending time with his family, he can often be found at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is a doctoral candidate in NT Theology. He also teaches regularly at the Louisville campus of Indiana Wesleyan University where he has been part of the affiliate/adjunct faculty since 2004. Rick and Kathy have applied to adopt a little girl from China, who is tentatively named Elianna Ruth.
