Thrive Africa is a ministry focused on the Basotho (pronounced ba-soo-too) people living throughout Intabazwe and Qwa Qwa, rural township areas surrounding the town of Harrismith South Africa. Home to over 1 million people, this region has been declared the poorest area of the country: 88% are unemployed and 75% experience chronic hunger. In 2002, Thrive purchased a game reserve as its mission base. 2,500 acres of sprawling countryside serve as the base of operations for the entire ministry. The mission base empowers Thrive to be a catalyst of change in this nation as we use it to impact lives, launch leaders, and strategically mobilize the local body of Christ.
